In the first half of 2014 Container terminal Saint-Petersburg (CTSP) handled 195,3k TEU, 1% less than in the same period of the previous year.
The decrease, reflecting the common trend at the stevedoring market, is a result of the volume of import decreased due to depress domestic demand and depreciation of the ruble against major world currencies in the beginning of the year.
Generally, the volume of import was 98,3k TEU, which is 4,9% lower than in January-June 2013.
